Teaching children from a young age about the Biblical account of a literal, six day creation is so important. This fun Dinosaur hat is easy to make and children love it, the boys and the girls! As always, remember a Bible craft is not a Bible craft without a Bible verse, so please use the free printable template or make your own. The lesson plan for this craft is varied, there are so many facts regarding the dinosaurs that children so need to be taught. Examples, When did God make the dinosaours? Why are dinosaur's not mentioned in the Bible? (dinosaur is a relatively new word), Did Noah take dinosaurs unto the ark? What happened to all the dinosaurs? These are just a few examples. Cut out the dino template and stick the two dino halves together with sellotape.
You need to use the dinosaur template to cut out two dino sides for each hat, from strong card. You could use white and have them colour in, or as shown in the pic, I opted for bright coloured card. If you fold over one A3 sheet of card on the long edge, you can cut the two sides in one go.
You then need to stick on the two text boxes from the second free template above and you could also make some triangles from card cuttings and make stick up backs on the dinos, see the pictures. I also gave out dinosaur/creation themed stickers for some extra decoration.
Draw an eye on each dino side and then staple at the front and back, you can staple one and then measure with your hand on the childs head, where to staple at the second end.
